Air Fryer Sweet Potato Wedges

These golden sweet potato wedges are seasoned to perfection and air-fried until crispy. The perfect easy side dish for any weeknight!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium sweet potatoes scrubbed and cut into wedges
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley optional

Method
 

  1. Plug in and preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In the air fryer container or a large bowl, mix the sweet potato wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Use a hand mixer or spatula if needed.
  3. Arrange the seasoned wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  4. Cook for 10 minutes. Check for tenderness and crispiness. Air fry an additional 2–5 minutes if needed.
  5. Transfer to a serving plate. Add a pinch of salt and garnish with parsley if using. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • If your wedges are on the thick side, go for the full 15 minutes.
  • Use avocado oil if you prefer a higher smoke point.
  • Add cayenne if you want a spicy kick.
  • This recipe works with purple or white sweet potatoes too!
